Welcome to our CityView Uniting Church website! I’m glad you have joined us.

The CityView Uniting Church is a growing church community and its still very early days, we are in the process of building a community and participating in a movement of God’s people  in the heart of Adelaide.

 You may work in, live in or access services in the U City building or you may live in the heart of Adelaide or its surrounding suburbs. We want to be your local church

At the moment we are a small core team meeting weekly in homes and have started gathering a larger group on Sundays for worship (3:00pm) sharing life, and trying to add value and make a difference in all sorts of places. If you are interested in getting involved we would love to hear from you!!

My name is Andrew and I’m a Uniting Church Minister. I have the joy to lead the team and the church as we start to build a culture, define values and celebrate what and who we are called to be.

We believe that God has given us a clear purpose for who we are, that we are to make a difference in our community. The partnership between U City, Uniting Communities and the Uniting Church gives us a platform on which there is HOPE and purpose for ALL people, as we respond to God.

We are constantly looking for places of overlap: the intersection of what people do in their everyday lives, with what God might be asking us to do, this is the place we will operate and minister!

We are a group of people that come from all walks of life and experiences. We don’t all think the same and we are certainly not perfect. We see an opportunity for great diversity in the Uniting Church, being held together by the story of what Jesus has done for us.

In living from this story we hope to help more and more people find hope and purpose so that we may journey together in the adventure of life.

We have one big thing in common – Jesus has done something wonderful in our life, and if we can explain it or not, we are on a journey to understand this call and this path and we are helping each other, as we work it out.
